The Lakeshore Campus in downtown Waukegan offers residents of northeast Lake County convenient access to College of Lake County programs. The campus provides a full range of academic choices, allowing students to complete course work leading toward all of CLC's degree options and several certificate programs. In addition, Lakeshore offers GED and English as a Second Language courses as well as non-credit continuing education for personal enrichment.
Student Services
In addition to a wide range of academic opportunities, the Lakeshore Campus also offers a full menu of student support services, all at the Student Services Center (Room N211). These services include counseling, advisement, registration and financial aid advice, and many services are offered on a "drop-in" basis.
Other services are also offered to make attending college more convenient for busy, working adults. A fully accredited child-care center is located at Lakeshore, as well as a full-service bookstore.
Library Service
Library service is now offered at the Lakeshore Campus in Room N-214. Check the hours posted for in-person library assistance, or contact the Library by phone or online. Faculty and students can also access many Library resources through thelibrary web page.
