About the Program

New for Fall Semester 2022, the Industrial Technology program prepares students for a career in residential or commercial Maintenance. The career field consists of Maintenance Technologists who are specialists that repair and maintain commercial or industrial machinery to ensure proper functionality. Students learn how to install, maintain, operate, diagnose, and repair equipment used in manufacturing industries and maintain facilities/buildings.

The Industrial technology program will help to train workers to work with and maintain this new system in the cutting-edge technologies and gain the following skills:

  • Mechanical equipment installation, troubleshooting and repair
  • Electrical control, motor drives
  • and PLC (programmable logic controllers)
  • Wiring, installation and troubleshooting
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic installation and troubleshooting
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Variable frequency drives installation and troubleshooting
  • Conveyor systems operations
  • Welding,
  • Industrial manufacturing
  • Machine troubleshooting

Program Costs & Financial Aid

  • Tuition: $128 per credit hour (in-district for Fall 2022)
  • Estimated Tuition Cost per Semester: $1,536
    (12 credit hours)

This program is eligible for financial aid.

  • Certificate: 4 months (1 semester)
  • Associate Degree: 24 months (2 years)
